A deliciously packed oatmeal bowl with around 35-40 grams of protein :)

This satiating oatmeal bowl contains rich nutrients that will fuel your body for your morning activities. Complex carbs, fats and fiber, all vital nutrients we need to treat our body right!


Protein-Packed Oatmeal Bowl

Ingredients

Oats

  • 1 cup of Bob's Red Mills Protein Oats

  • 1 1/2 cups of water

  • 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds-high in omega 3, good fatty acids

  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds-high in omega 3 and 6

  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds-high in fiber

Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter-protein, fiber and healthy fats

  • 2 tablespoons greek yogurt-protein, healthy fats and calcium

  • Handful of blueberries (frozen or fresh)-high in fiber and antioxidants

  • Banana (Half of whole)-high in potassium

  • Handful of pumpkin seeds-high in protein, fiber, magnesium

  • Drizzle of honey-anti-inflammatory

  • Dash of cinnamon-regulates blood sugar

Directions

  1. Add water, oats, and seeds to cooking pot.

  2. Turn on high heat and let boil. Once boiling, turn oatmeal down to simmer, cover with lid, and let cook for around fifteen minutes. Make sure to occasionally stir to keep the oats unstuck from the pan.

  3. Pour oatmeal in bowl, and add your toppings!
